Community Youth Empowerment, a former Greenhouse Initiative, has achieved independent 501(c)(3) status after being with the Marion Institute for one year.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to provide youth with knowledge, skills and mentorship applicable to life outside of school. We strive to collaborate with community leaders and resources to uplift youth and ensure their future success.

OUR GOALS

  • Provide the youth with a strong foundation and understanding to be functional members of the community

  • Develop essential interpersonal and life skills by facilitating active ​learning and self-motivation

  • Create an open, comfortable space for youth to discuss realistic topics

  • Develop successful young adults and expose them to various career opportunities
