The Marion Institute's Southcoast Food Policy Council's hosted a VIRTUAL Candidate Forum on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Learn how your candidates in District 10 (Fairhaven, Mattapoisett, Marion, Rochester, South West New Bedford) of Bristol County plans on addressing the food system concerns and aspirations of their constituents.

September 18th, 2024 the Southcoast Food Policy Council hosted a virtual Food Summit: Shifting Perspectives from Food Security to Food Sovereignty from 6-8pm. The Keynote speaker was Alison Cohen from National Right to Food Community of Practice.

Stress is a fact of life. Stress—the so-called “bad” kind—has us ruminating, over-planning, constantly in a state of hyper-arousal, over-thinking about what we could’ve done differently, about what we should do in the future, about how we should’ve said this and not that, or worrying and obsessing about nearly everything. It’s no wonder the mind feels overloaded!
