Discover the Biodiversity of Frogfoot Farm
Join Wildlands Trust for a Citizen Science BioBlitz
Tuesday, September 1 | 10:00 am–2:00 pm
Frogfoot Farm
Spend the day exploring one of Southeastern Massachusetts’ most unique landscapes while contributing to meaningful conservation research.
Join fellow Wildlands Trust volunteers and staff for a hands-on BioBlitz at Frogfoot Farm, where we’ll work together to identify and document the incredible diversity of plants, insects, birds, fungi, and other wildlife that call the farm home. Every observation collected helps paint a more complete picture of the ecosystem and contributes valuable data for future stewardship and conservation efforts.
Whether you’re an experienced naturalist or simply curious about the world around you, this event is a fun opportunity to slow down, explore, learn, and connect with others who share a passion for protecting our natural spaces.
Space is limited to 20 participants, so registration is required.
What is a BioBlitz?
A BioBlitz is a community-powered effort to identify and record as many species as possible within a designated area over a short period of time.
Working in small teams, you’ll use the iNaturalist app to photograph and document the wildlife you discover throughout Frogfoot Farm. No previous experience is necessary—Wildlands Trust will provide all the training you need before heading into the field.
