The city of New Bedford is teaming up with local farmers to provide three million meals per year for students as a part of New Bedford’s Farm to School program, an initiative co-directed by the Marion Institute's Grow Education program.

In Wareham, the Marion Institute recently partnered with the Gleason Family YMCA which serves as a distribution site, and has now teamed up with Jowaun Gamble, the founder of Community Youth Empowerment, to hand out 20 pound boxes of fresh produce at the Wareham Boys and Girls Club each Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.
