 Recipe of the Month: Guacamole

The combination of healthy ingredients in Guacamole make it the perfect super-food snack!

  • 3 avocados – peeled, pitted, and mashed (do not mash completely)
  • 1/2 cup diced Vidalia onion
  • 2 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Himalayan or Celtic salt
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix ingredients together and refrigerate 1 hour for best flavor.
