The task of cultivating health-promoting structures and routines can be difficult, but new research highlights just how necessary support and structure are to the health and wellness of a particularly vulnerable group: the nation’s 25 million teens. As parents and caregivers, there are several ways we can help teens develop resilience against stress and anxiety, particularly when faced with unsettling circumstances.

On Tuesday, August 25, the Marion Institute (MI) embarked on a virtual culinary and dining experience with Little Moss Restaurant in Dartmouth, MA to raise funds for Grow Education. Click to read more about this partnership match made in locavore heaven!

On August 18th the Grow Education team and 17 teachers from New Bedford Public Schools came together for our first Professional Development Workshop. These teachers are the first cohort for the Farm to School program. See how they spent the day with us!

Leading up to the outbreak of COVID-19, we heard many concerns about food equity issues if schools were to close.  Students across the nation coming from areas of poverty rely on meals that they are served in school – what would they do without those meals?
