We’re wasting too much food, while almost 1 in 6 Americans are food insecure. As the richest nation in the history of the world in food production, this is unacceptable. And the numbers aren’t changing dramatically each year. We need to rethink, and reinvent solutions to these two challenges….and do it in a manner that both engenders dignity for all involved, and is economically sustainable.
