On Wednesday, October 16th, Frogfoot Farm was able to donate nearly 100 pounds of veggies to Damien’s Place Food Pantry because of YOU! Read More Here.

Thursday, October 10th, was an unforgettable evening as we hosted our second annual Boogie at the Bog in support of Frogfoot Farm’s Neighbors Feeding Neighbors, farm to food relief program. The night unfolded in a truly magical fashion, with perfect weather setting the stage and even the Northern Lights making a rare appearance. From our generous local culinary partners to the nearly 350 guests in attendance, the community’s support was felt in every way. It was a night to remember, celebrating collective action and local partnerships for this meaningful cause.

If you missed him speak, here’s a brief story that Frogfoot Farmer Scott Codey shared at the Boogie:

“I went to pick up my CSA share,” said Farmer Scott, “and the person behind me in line heard about Frogfoot Farm’s purpose to donate fresh produce to area food pantries. This other CSA customer said to me… ‘I think that’s a really great project because I raised two kids by myself and when I went to food pantries, there were so many days I would pick up my food there and look at the available vegetables – and they were wilted and sad – and I thought to myself… Is this all that I’m worth?’ This individual’s story sticks with me, and it makes me proud to be involved with the impact Frogfoot Farm is making,” Scott concluded.

Reflecting on this individual’s story, reenergizes our team at the Marion Institute to do the work we do. Please consider staying engaged with us year-round, and truly make Frogfoot your community farm too.
