Video: Temple Grandin’s ‘Living with Autism’ Event

Temple Grandin spoke to a full house at New Bedford’s First Unitarian Church on October 22, sharing her powerful message on re-framing the way we think about autism. Space at the church was limited, so we’re sharing the full video of her talk here for anyone who was unable to attend.

Dr. Grandin attributes her ground-breaking achievements in livestock handling and facility design to her unique visual way of processing information. By focusing on her unique strengths, Temple Grandin has pioneered a new way of understanding animals.

Temple Grandin is currently a professor of animal science at Colorado State University. She has published numerous popular books including the New York Times Bestseller “Animals in Translation,” has appeared on popular television shows and major magazines, and speaks internationally.
