It is with great pleasure that we announce the successful launch of Community Youth Empowerment (CYE) from our Greenhouse Initiatives (fiscal sponsorship) program. We also discuss Black History Month lessons in the New Bedford Schools as well as heart health habits and updates to SFPC's Community Advisory Board.

In this November's newsletter, we debut our #GivingTuesday campaign with benefit going toward the Mary Shands Scholarship Fund. The fund is used to help those seeking financial help in pursuing biological medicine therapies. It's Native American Heritage Month and Grow Education explores Wampanoag history thru lessons and talks and the Southcoast Food Policy Council weighs in on Land Acknowledgements in the Food System.
