In Wareham, the Marion Institute recently partnered with the Gleason Family YMCA which serves as a distribution site, and has now teamed up with Jowaun Gamble, the founder of Community Youth Empowerment, to hand out 20 pound boxes of fresh produce at the Wareham Boys and Girls Club each Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.
Sippican Week – July 8, 2020 – Families receive free, farm-fresh food each week

Each week, nearly 200 families receive twenty pound boxes of fresh, high-quality produce -- and it's all free. By the end of August, the program will have brought a total of 600,000 pounds of produce to families across the South Coast.

When COVID-19 made sit-down dinners impossible, Good Shepherd’s Table switched to take-out. And it continues to provide hot dinners to folks in need via take-out every Thursday, from 4 to 5 p.m., serving well in excess of 100 meals.
