Mountainfilm on Tour
November 3, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
SouthCoast Film Forum presents Mountainfilm at the New Bedford Whaling Museum Theater on Saturday November 3. This one-day, two-part festival of short documentaries features culturally rich and inspiring films on climate change, agriculture, the migration of people and birds, and outdoor adventures.
Founded in 1979 and based in Telluride Colorado, Mountainfilm is one of America’s longest-running film festivals. The annual Tour goes to over 160 cities around the globe.
The New Bedford program is in two parts, each featuring different films. For the most immersive and rewarding experience, we hope you will plan on attending both sessions.
Part One 3:30-5:30 PM
Part Two 7:00-9:00 PM
The Mid-Way Intermission will feature a lobby reception with cash bar and snacks, or the opportunity to step out for a local meal.
Mountainfilm on Tour is presented by the non-profit SouthCoast Film Forum, in partnership with the New Bedford Whaling Museum and the Buzzards Bay Coalition.
