Laurie was a producer of the 2006 Academy Award winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth and executive produced the HBO documentary Too Hot NOT to Handle. She also executive produced for television the TBS comedy special Earth to America!, which featured Tom Hanks, Will Ferrell, Steve Martin and Jack Black among many others and won her a Gracie Allen Award.
