Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School
250 Foundry Street
South Easton, MA
"My name is Joanna Forge’t and I am an environmental engineering teacher at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School. I teach 9-12th grade students who are really invested in sustainability and community gardening. We are so grateful to the Marion Institute and the Makepeace Foundation for their support of our sustainable school garden project. The students are so excited to be able to harvest their own fruits and vegetables in the future and to have this produce be a part of their future school lunches and to share this with our local communities. We would love to see this become a year-round opportunity for the students and well as perhaps have our produce sold at a local farmer’s market or given to our students to eat at home and share with their families."
