Want to know what it’s like to pioneer clean energy reform in the White House, or hear the latest in clean tech job creation? Van Jones will be giving the keynote address Friday Oct. 22nd. Jones is a best-selling author, former advisor to President Obama and a senior fellow at the Center For American Progress. If you want to come see Van on Friday, click here for a special Friday only offer.
On Saturday Oct. 23rd, Annie Leonard author of theThe Story of Stuff, will share her experiences visiting some 40 countries and hundreds of factories, where our “stuff” comes from. Leonard has unique insights into the modern global economy, and we think her talk will be incredibly eye-opening. If you want to come see Annie on Saturday, we also have a special Saturday only offer here.
And if you’re ever looking for proof that one person can change the world, look no further than Greg Mortenson, who gives the keynote address on Sunday Oct. 24th. The climber turned humanitarian is responsible for building some 140 schools in Pakistan and planting the seeds of peace in a region that has been war-torn for decades. Sunday's event is very close to sold out, but check here for more information.
Really though, there’s so much more happening. Aside from an incredible group of speakers and a world-changing schedule of workshops, there will also be a Film Festival and Farmer’s Market set up as well.
We would love for you to join us, but please know that tickets are close to sold out, especially for Sunday, so register soon. Also if you would, please consider helping us spread the word on Facebook and Twitter.
